Why We Do It?
From a life-changing can’t to can!
Our co-founder Ralph, is an avid writer of Arabic poetry and wanted to monetize his content to share it with his friends while also earning a little bit on the side! However, when Ralph went out to search for platforms where he could publish his content behind a pay wall - he wasn’t able to find one!
When it came to publishing his content, either a large one-time investment was required (printing and publishing books) or he would have to publish his content on social media platforms, which would yield him nothing!
He had one choice - to publish it as e-book on Amazon! But Amazon’s conversion engine isn’t built to convert Arabic text. His close friend, our other co-founder Pamela suggested to build his own conversion software and publish his content! But Ralph, spotting a business opportunity, thought why not build a platform for Arabic content creators to publish their content!
And the journey began!Determined to deliver quality Arabic content previously unseen by the public at large, we are on the cusp of building a business centered around three foundations - Democratization, Culture and Affordability!
We call it Menassati, which means "my platform" in Arabic!

Menassati has already sourced 1500 videos, 9500 e-books, 2000 podcasts and 10 games from a vast array of content creators within the region. We usually tap into our founders' network and collaborate with independent production companies to list exclusive content on Menassati. We are in the process of building the second iteration of our platform to list all this content.
Think about how many platforms you have to subscribe to watch content, read e-books, listen to podcasts and play games. And how many such platforms are there with fresh Arabic content catering to today's generation. To address these problems and much more, Menassati was launched, on which subscribers will have access to unique Arabic video content, e-books, podcasts and games, all for a price of USD 5.99 per month.
Given that we are building the platform to list the content we have acquired, Menassati hasn’t launched yet its subscription model to the public. In 2021, we exclusively sold e-books through our website and generated over USD 130K in revenue while doing so.
Our co-founders come from different industries and thus complement each other.
Ralph Younes is a successful entrepreneur having successfully founded and exited multiple ventures within the jewelry industry. In his spare time, Ralph is an avid writer of Arabic literature and poetry having published over 35 books so far.
Pamela Osman, meanwhile, brings with her a range of skills having worked in the education industry for over 15 years, teaching business marketing, public relations, and consumer behavior. Like Ralph, Pamela in her spare time loves to write English and Arabic quotes.
Yes, we have! So far, we’ve raised over USD 500k from an institutional European investor. As part of our current round, the existing investor has committed to investing a further USD 165k.
The money raised in this round will primarily be used to create a few proprietary Arabic productions and to expand our reach by executing select marketing strategies.
